Collection Diary 04-15-2008

Star Wars - 1983 meets 2005 eBay, Target, Walmart, Hot Topic. It seems like the same old haunts every time something new is added to the collection. It's not from lack of trying. Today's addition is from a site I've never bought from before, and they came through with flying colors!

First up is a holofoil (formerly referred to as a lasergram) sticker made by 3D Arts. The blue Darth Vader and Return of the Jedi logo are printed over a laser-etched reflective background. Very 1980's, for obvious reasons.

The Yoda magnetic maze game by Quick (in France) is still somewhat of a puzzle for me. The first thing I'm going to need to figure out is what 'Quick' is. A grocery store? Gas station? Food manufacturer? Restaurant? Was this a mail-away or a premium? Time to start Googling!

These two 'new finds' we purchased from Star Wars Toy Box. They carry quite a but of the usual, but if you dig really deep in, you can find oddities like I did. I'll check back with them again in a couple of weeks to see if anything new of interest has been added.
