Collection Diary 01-02-06

New Finds! No Stompin Wampa going Fast Through the Forest this time! Before moving production over to the Hasbro side of the the company, Galactic Heroes were produced by Playskool and came in larger sets instead of 2-packs.

Hasbro seems to be recycling many of the original pieces. The Luke Skywalker and Speederbike (above) and Scout Trooper with Speederbike (below) are from a Playskool set named "Fast through the Forest". Arctic Luke and his pal Cold Weather Han are from a different Playskool set, "Stompin Wampa". I wonder... will we next see Anakin Skywalker with R2-D2, and Darth Maul with young Obi-Wan Kenobi from the other two Playskool sets?

I found these three sets today at my local Target store!

Well, so far so good on the daily entry resolution. Tomorrow the Christmas boxes we shipped home from Washington should arrive, giving me more for the diary if they show up in time.
