Cards, Inc. Product Focus Feature - Day 5 of 7

    Collectible Showcase
First Choice Star Wars Cookie Jars

Cards, Inc. chose five characters for their 1st series cookie jars... four of which had never been licensed as a cookie jar before.

The success of Star Wars cookie jars was first experienced by Sigma in the 1980's. In the 1990's Star Jars produced three series' of cookie jars shaped as Star Wars character busts, which also made them appealing for countertop display. Many collectors shyed away from the original retail price of $225 for each of the Star Jars line. When Star Jars went out of business, every one of their Star Wars cookie jars could be found on eBay for $15-$75 each.

Cards, Inc. has brought the cookie jar license back to life with cookie jars very similar in design as style as the Star Jars set, but at a much more collector-friendly price. Online retailers have them for 39GBP in the U.K., or $60 each here in the U.S.
