Ornamental Collectibles

The jury is still out on the new collectibles just starting to come in.

Kurt S. Adler, Inc. has my attention. Perhaps not my full attention, but certainly my curiousity.
Rebelscum.com did a Toy Fare 2005 feature on Kurt S. Adler, Inc. which displayed a large array of Star Wars Christmas items, and not just ornaments either! (Wonderful promises of a shiny fun Christmas to come!)

I have looked forward to their ornaments especially because of their MPire theme. Keeping one eye on eBay at all times, I have come to realize that the ornaments have shown up in two different packaging types... a set of eight boxed, and the same set of eight plus eight more (16 in all) loose with tags. So far there is no official explaination about the packaging differences. What is certain is the boxed set are only $4.99 each at retail and the ornaments are identical in size and sculpt as their loose counterparts, which I have not received for 'study' yet.
