eBay Sellers Reveal Multiple PEZ Packaging

    New Releases

Story Number 600 - Revenge of PEZ

Note... this format for StarWarsGuide.net was started on December 26, 2002. In a very short 3-1/4 years I have now (nearly single-handed) posted 600 stories of my Star Wars collecting adventures. Thank you to all of my readers who continue to come back to see what mischief the Super_Collector can come up with next as my collection grows.

Wow! Rebelscum.com picked up my story about PEZ and their re-release of their 'exclusive' Star Wars Crystal PEZ set in a wide-release format. The server is logging more activity today then for the whole 2005 year-to-date! This once again proves the power of RebelScum.com and the quality of their readership! Thank you to Jeremy and all the rest of the editors over there for the link!

Today's story is about PEZ again, but this time it's a variation collector's alert...
The best way to keep up on 'what's happening' in the Star Wars collecting realm is to read your daily news sites daily (RebelScum.com, GalacticHunter.com, TheJawa.com.com, etc.), online stores (shop.StarWars.com, CloudCity.com, SWSeller.com, etc.), and a solid 3-5 hours of eBay every day.

While talking with the eBay sellers who already have the new Crystal PEZ in hand, I also started looking around at what other Star Wars PEZ items were being offered. The confusion started when I had bid on a set of PEZ dispensers in a new PEZ 'rainbow' package... sky blue in color with little PEZs flying around. The new Crystal Star Wars PEZ set comes in old red, green, or blue style bags. At first I thought the crystal PEZ photos were faked (after all, PEZ wouldn't be silly enough to re-release their high-dollar exclusves... wink, wink ...and why would they put the expensive dispensers into old bags??), but as I looked further I found the new PEZ coming in both new and old style bags, along with their cool EPIII carded packaging.

So if you're a variation collector, or a PEZ dispenser completionist, you'll now have to search out the dispensers in all three formats. At under a buck each, that really isn't that bad of news. Keep your eyes open, and happy hunting!
