    Collecting Diary 2004-08-15

    The Spirit of the Rebellion

I'm going to continue filling in the colletion gap of my hiatus by sticking to the theme of Comic Con 2004.

This set of collectibles was put out a convention exclusive by Gentle Giant. Each piece is a combination mini-bust and model, as each must be assembled (without instructions!). Thankfully, with a bit of logic and the assistance of keyed tabs they aren't too tough.

These four pieces represent a complete 'common' set; one of 5000. They come sealed inside black baggies, inside a plain white box. Mixed in the with standard set are 500 chase sets. The chase sets are identical to the common set with the exception that the chase sets actually glow in the dark!
