    More International Figures

With Episode III coming in less then a year, the market for Star Wars collectibles has opened up wide! It seems like everybody who has been waiting to get OUT of collecting is abandoning ship now. There's no doubt it's a buyer's market. All of the Star Wars goods people grabbed on clearance, waiting for the next big wave of buyers are starting to appear at rock-bottom prices.

Since I have just about all of the U.S. goods I want (for now) my focus is still on the pieces I was unable to obtain from overseas when they were first released (pre-eBay in many cases).

Today's addition to the collection is six Star Wars action figures... three POTF2 and three EPI CommTech.

As I had said before, the multiple languages is what is attractive about international packaging. Who better to personify this then Dark Vador himself! Greedo is just plain 'Greedo', althought there are several ways to say 'Princess Leia'. =)

The EPI CommTech chips have their spoken lines listed in several languages, but these only speak in English. I received Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn (Naboo), and Padme' Naberrie.
