    Collecting Diary 2004-05-22

More Disney Star Wars Weekends 2004!

HEY! WATCH IT! I'm both happy and sorry to say that Disney did NOT come up a watch that out classes my Mickey and Yoda watch from last year. This years design is Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the classic movie poster pose, with the classic movie poster behind them. As a limited edition of 500 pieces, it's likely that everybody who wants one will get one this year.

There's more to the story, if you'll READ MORE...

Ever since Star Wars WDW statred, I've avoided collecting all the pins. At 10-20 bucks each, there are hundreds of dollars worth of pins out there. This year the pins have been reduced in number to just a couple per weekend. I'm even considering getting all of the non-boxed sets this tiem around.

My first pin of the year is similar to the watch design. It's Mickie and Minnie in the ANH theater poster-style pose.

The first weekend also had a pin featuring the lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader on the Death Star.
