New Finds From a New Friend

Through ebay I've met a very friendly seller, who's actually a collector paring down his collection. Since he's in the U.K., he's got some tidbits that I haven't seen before, or had the opportunity to pick up at retail prices. Slowly but surely I seem to be picking up the more odd pieces from his modern Star Wars collection.
Of course I own the R2-D2 keychain watch from Tiger Electronics... *but* mine had a plasticized cardback and this one has an all-cardboard backing. (Hey... it's *my* job to track every variation in the world so that you have to... //smile//.)

In 1996 I bid on this silly Yo-Yo time and time again. I just couldn't land one. At one point I had even bid $15US, plus $10US postage. Lost it. Now that this one has gone up on eBay 8 years later, it went for a fraction of that. A lesson about impulse and values and fads, perhaps?
