    Collection Diary Entry 2003-09-13

Which did I find; the Master or the Apprentice?

Today Rebelscum.com reported that the new Battle of Hoth TRU exclusive multipack was found in France with the corrected Tauntaun (two unbroken horns).

Today I also found the Battle of Hoth multi-pack with a Tauntaun with one broken horn.

    Please READ MORE...

The Tauntaun was fixed due to it's split-belly feature. Luke's Tauntaun had a broken horn; Han's did not. And it was Han's Tauntaun whose belly got split to keep Luke alive.

Now we get to wait and see if the broken horn set, or the corrected set turns out to be the harder one to find.

It's my opinion that this wasn't necessarilly a production error. I believe Hasbro did this on purpose to get us all POTF2-style Tauntauns for both Luke and Han. It's a great way to supply the demand while getting us to buy multiple multi-packs of figures! =)

On a different note, I also found all three Clone Wars Bonus Packs today at Walmart. I'm not featuing them here though since I had bought them in advance from overseas. My cost for the first set... $75.00. My cost for the second set... $15.00. Learn, Padawan.
