Lucas: Original Classic Trilogy Won\'t See DVD Release

    News

In a recent appearance, George Lucas revealed that the original versions of the Classic Trilogy (Pre-Special Edition) will not be released on DVD...
Unlike Mr. Lucas' Christmas slip where he accidently stated there would be 9 movies (and later corrected himself back to '6'), it looks like there's no misunderstanding this time.

Fans have organized an online petition to have the original trilogy (OT) released on DVD... perhaps as an additional disc, or part of a special collector's edition.

There was an electronic petition online at petitiononline.com, but it became so inflamatory about the decision, that a domain was created to support the position without becoming offensive and counterproductive.

To read and sign the petition, paste the link below into your web browser.
